I am putting up a review of Gold Gym Lucknow. The blog is about the malpractices and rates offered by Gold Gym Lucknow Mahanagar. To start my review, I would like to tell you that I have been a member of Gold Gym from a long time and I have used their facilities in Gold Gym in many Cities in North India. So far my experience was good till the time I reached Lucknow. I took another membership as the old one was set for a renewal, Originally bought in Noida NCR. The membership was moved to Lucknow Gold Gym towards my agreement to start using the facilities. I have been to Gold Gym in NCR, Ludhiana, Amritsar and Lucknow. I liked all three other places till I went to Lucknow Gold Gym.
I liked the ambiance of Lucknow Gold's Gym at the first instance as it was designed and satisfied the minimum standards of Gold's Gym Worldwide. I started using their services from December 2010, on my Travel Pass issued to me by my previous Gym. In those days I was in Lucknow for a few days for company meetings, so whenever I got free time I used to go to the Gym to workout and relieve my body of all day work stress.
At first few days all my work-outs were good. The coach, Head trainer and body trainers were good in their service. I would like to mention that the Receptionists and the management was exceptionally interested in me and they were offering all kind of services from Thai Massage to have Protein shakes at their MOJO Restaurant in the same compound of Lucknow Gold Gym.
Frankly speaking, I do not like the way they propagate their services. It always seemed like that the team at the reception and customer services is completely dedicated or obsessed with selling their services. The desperation and constant nagging frustrated me to the core of my soul. I also shouted at them once but to my amazement another "Good Looking" girl was pushed in to pitch the same sales. Gosh... Mate I have been a marketeer and I know Marketing and selling strategies more than your team of Virgin Marketeers. Using the age old seduce a man to sell him shit does not work on me.
I kinda also mention the name of Ms. Niha or Neha or whatever it may be. I actually do not care about that. As the little girl somewhat "under" 5 feet in height but is like an iceberg. Seems like her strategies and plotting goes comes from far beyond the depth you could imagine. She is the so called "Center Manager". I do not understand how bad in management she could be or rather I feel that the behaviors of the whole team is because of her guidance.
I do not know why the management is so bad and what the center owner is doing about the stuff they offer to clients. Be it from the lack of Soaps to lack of Oil in steam bath. Oh, another thing to mention, guys if you are planing for a steam bath session, which is given free, please please please make it before 8:00 PM is its Strictly Ordered by the management to close the Steam room by 8. Plus additionally its a regular practice to keep the Hot water closed and you have to specially ask the Housekeeping guy to start the geyser for a warm shower, which consumes another 10 minutes. So here, either you loose your precious time or take a bath with cold water and risk your health. Which you are actually paying to maintain. Kind of Funny...
